However, I highly recommend having a separate, timed competitive wave that's eligible for awards or simple bragging rights (as most races do) to ensure your placements of top racers are accurate & all obstacles were indeed completed in the finish time recorded. This keeps race conditions comparable for competitve racers & lends confidence that top runners indeed came in ahead of participants in a later waves when bottlenecks start happening tempting people may skip obstacles etc. and thus "finish faster." It keeps it a more fair playing field - apples to apples, not apples to oranges.read less

Absolutely love this race; the venue, the obstacles, the volunteers, everything. Can't recommend it highly enough. Definitely worth bringing out the whole family. If you're thinking about doing it, do it. You won't be sorry.read less
